Are you lost? In a foreign country is very common when we get lost walking. And the most important question to do in these times is: Where is it? Let's talk a little about it? Let´s learn about directions, places, origins? Let´s go then! And don´t get lost!

ONDE?/ where?   DE ONDE?/ where from?

1.     Vamos encontrar lugares / Let´s find places.

Onde fica Salvador? Where is Salvador?

Fica na Bahia. It is in Bahia.

Onde fica a Igreja de S. Francisco? Where is S. Francisco Church?

Fica em Salvador. It is in Salvador.

Onde fica o posto de correios? Where is the post office?

Fica na segunda rua à esquerda. It´s on the second street on the left.

Onde é o Banco do Brasil? Where is Banco do Brasil?

Fica na rua principal. It´s on the main street.

Onde é o Pão de Açúcar? Where is the Sugar Loaf?

Fica no Rio de Janeiro. It´s in Rio de Janeiro.

Onde fica Florianópolis? Where is Florianópolis?

No sul do Brasil. It is in south of Brazil.

2.     Vamos encontrar coisas / Let´s find things.

Onde estão os meus livros? Where are my books?
Estão no armário do escritório. They are in the office closet.

Onde está a chave da porta da frente? Where´s the front door key?

Está no carro. It´s in the car.

E onde estão as chaves do carro? And where are the car keys?

Estão na gaveta da mesa. They are in the desk drawer.

Onde está minha carteira? Where's my wallet?

Está no bolso do seu casaco. It´s in your coat pocket.

E onde estão meus óculos? And where are my glasses?

Fica em Londres. It´s in London.

Fica em Washington. It is in Washington.

Onde fica o Louvre? Where is the Louvre?

Fica em Paris. It is in Paris.

Fica no Rio de Janeiro It is in Rio de Janeiro.

Onde fica o Coliseu? Where is the Colosseum?

Fica em Roma. It is in Rome
